Crowley

Aziraphale didn't quite know what to do with himself.

Ever since the night before, when he'd blinked away from Crowley - Crowley who had kissed him. He was confused, and he was having feelings, and he didn't know how to deal with any of them.

So of course he decided to read one of his favorite books.

He put a "CLOSED" sign on the bookshop door, and sat down with a misprinted bible and a cup of tea.

"What's wrong with the way I dress?" Aziraphale asked. "Do you think I should wear leather trousers like you?"

[sauntereddownward]

"I don't think leather trousers would suit you at all, angel," he replied. "But maybe, and hear me out, a few less layers."

It did make it so hard to undress him when he was blind pissed drunk.

"Really?" Aziraphale said, genuine. "Aren't three-piece suits very fashionable?"

[sauntereddownward]

"Fashionable, yes. Especially after Torchwood and James Bond films. But, really, angel...Couldn't you indulge for once in an A shirt and jeans?"

[theangelfell]

"Jeans!" Aziraphale gasped, scandalized.

[sauntereddownward]

"Yes. A little low rise black denim Diesel never hurt anyone," he replied.

[theangelfell]

"I - I would look ridiculous," Aziraphale insisted.

[sauntereddownward]

"You might not," Crowley protested. Even though he agreed. Aziraphale simply didn't have the hips for low rise jeans.

[theangelfell]

"You look good in jeans though," Aziraphale said. "I'm not against them in principle."

[sauntereddownward]

"That's...not entirely disheartening," Crowley replied, not sure if that was a compliment or not.

[theangelfell]

"I mean, I'm not saying that there's anything in particular about jeans, or you and jeans, just you seem to be... shaped properly for them," Aziraphale fumbled.

[sauntereddownward]

"Well, I suppose I'll take that as a compliment. 'Properly shaped for jeans'. Not exactly what I was aiming for when trying to get you to loosen your fashion standards."

He paused.

"Would you wear jeans if they were tartan? Oh! Like Roger in RENT."

[theangelfell]

"I... I still think that I might not look right," Aziraphale said, "but I suppose it doesn't hurt to try something new."

[sauntereddownward]

"Not exactly beach attire. Maybe we will try when we're back in your shop," he said as his mind wandered to a Roger with black eyeliner and tartan jeans that looked like the angel. One Song Glory indeed.

"Yes well, this isn't really my typical attire either," Aziraphale said. "I feel rather... exposed." Even though it was basically just his arms and legs.

[sauntereddownward]

Crowley snapped his fingers and suddenly Aziraphale was wearing a robin's egg blue speedo. He smirked to himself.

[theangelfell]

"Crowley!" Aziraphale was scandalized, his face going bright red. He tried to cover himself before it finally occurred to him that he could fix this, and he snapped his fingers and was back in his tan three-piece suit.

He couldn't even chide Crowley, he was legitimately embarrassed, thinking he must be all pale and soft.

[sauntereddownward]

"Aww, now those looked good on you. Very Daniel Craig," he declared.

[theangelfell]

"You're teasing," Aziraphale accused him. He knew he must have looked ridiculous.

[sauntereddownward]

"Only a little."

He took a sip of his drink.

"I can't believe you're wearing a suit at the beach, Aziraphale. I didn't realize how much you needed to relax."

[theangelfell]

"Yes, well, it's your fault for stripping me down," Aziraphale muttered. He was rather warm now though.

[sauntereddownward]

"How can you swim in all that?" he asked. "You can't go converse with dolphins in a three piece. Tom Ford wouldn't approve."

[theangelfell]

"We're not swimming," Aziraphale said. Pause. "Do you want to go swimming?"

[sauntereddownward]

"I wouldn't mind. If you came with me," he said. "You can miracle the sharks away."

[theangelfell]

"Are there sharks?" asked Aziraphale. "We needn't magic them away, sharks are quite gentle if you're nice to them."
