Crowley

Aziraphale didn't quite know what to do with himself.

Ever since the night before, when he'd blinked away from Crowley - Crowley who had kissed him. He was confused, and he was having feelings, and he didn't know how to deal with any of them.

So of course he decided to read one of his favorite books.

He put a "CLOSED" sign on the bookshop door, and sat down with a misprinted bible and a cup of tea.

"Aww, now those looked good on you. Very Daniel Craig," he declared.

"You're teasing," Aziraphale accused him. He knew he must have looked ridiculous.

[sauntereddownward]

"Only a little."

He took a sip of his drink.

"I can't believe you're wearing a suit at the beach, Aziraphale. I didn't realize how much you needed to relax."

[theangelfell]

"Yes, well, it's your fault for stripping me down," Aziraphale muttered. He was rather warm now though.

[sauntereddownward]

"How can you swim in all that?" he asked. "You can't go converse with dolphins in a three piece. Tom Ford wouldn't approve."

[theangelfell]

"We're not swimming," Aziraphale said. Pause. "Do you want to go swimming?"

[sauntereddownward]

"I wouldn't mind. If you came with me," he said. "You can miracle the sharks away."

[theangelfell]

"Are there sharks?" asked Aziraphale. "We needn't magic them away, sharks are quite gentle if you're nice to them."

[sauntereddownward]

"They're frightful monsters if you're to believe the films," Crowley countered.

[theangelfell]

"One shouldn't," Aziraphale said. "Believe films, that is."

[sauntereddownward]

"Awwohh, I know that. Look how wrong they got The Exorcist," he replied, huffing a bit of a laugh. "Or Rosemary's Baby. That's not how it happened at all."

[theangelfell]

"I quite like It's a Wonderful Life," Aziraphale said pleasantly. "Have you seen that film? It's not how angels work, of course, but it has such a nice lesson."

[sauntereddownward]

"If I were to ring a bell, would you show your wings, angel? A bit...Pavlovian, don't you think?"

[theangelfell]

"I, ah, I don't think that's how that works," Aziraphale said. He was a bit shy about his wings these days; it felt terribly intimate.

[sauntereddownward]

"Ding a ling a ling," Crowley said. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

[theangelfell]

"If you want to show off your wings, be my guest," Aziraphale said. "Though there's no one here but me."

[sauntereddownward]

"That's my point, my dear. No one but us. We can let loose a bit. Really, when was the last time you gave them a good stretch?" he tempted.

[theangelfell]

Crowley made a good point, though Aziraphale was still a bit wary. "I still typically... don't do that in a public place."

[sauntereddownward]

"Then where do you do it? Only in your bedroom with the lights off?" Crowley asked. "Live a little. There's no one around."

[theangelfell]

Crowley was exactly right, actually. He took out his wings to stretch them, when no one else was around. And it wasn't like he admired himself while he did it. "And you, by contrast, stand in front of a full length mirror in a well lit room, likely naked."

[sauntereddownward]

"You know me too well, angel," he replied, removing his jacket and unbuttoning his shirt. "Come on. It'll be like old times."

[theangelfell]

"What, you're just going to..." Aziraphale said, watching him, not getting up. "You're not going to strip down entirely are you?"

[sauntereddownward]

Crowley arched a brow and gave Aziraphale a cheeky smile.

"Wouldn't you like to know," he replied. "You'd peek. I know you would."

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale's cheeks went pink. "Honestly," he mumbled.

[sauntereddownward]

Crowley unbuttoned his shirt and left it hanging open, but his wings manifested anyway. Large, glossy black wings that he stretched out, giving up a pleasurable groan.

"Oh, that's better. You should try it, angel."
