Crowley

Aziraphale didn't quite know what to do with himself.

Ever since the night before, when he'd blinked away from Crowley - Crowley who had kissed him. He was confused, and he was having feelings, and he didn't know how to deal with any of them.

So of course he decided to read one of his favorite books.

He put a "CLOSED" sign on the bookshop door, and sat down with a misprinted bible and a cup of tea.

Crowley's tone of voice did absolutely nothing to make Aziraphale feel better. It did, in fact, make things feel a little less right. So perhaps Crowley's words, in fact, backfired. He stepped away from Crowley's wings, and turned to face him. "I know that this is all terribly dull and old hat for you, but kissing is a rather big thing for me."

Crowley reached for his hand and held it in both his own He bowed just a fraction.

"Kissing you is quite rather a tremendous thing for me," he replied.

Aziraphale blushed. "Don't tease, Crowley."

"I'm not! You do understand the wickedest thing a demon can do is simply tell the truth," he replied.

[theangelfell]

"You've probably kissed a lot of people," Aziraphale muttered.

[sauntereddownward]

"Humans," he said derisively. "No one I've lov...lo...thought highly of."

Aziraphale's heart skipped, a moment of... hope, then dashed by how quickly Crowley leapt away from the word, so much that Aziraphale thought he might have imagined it.

"Kiss me again, then," he found himself saying.

With the invitation, Crowley didn't hesitate. He took Aziraphale's face in both hands, cradled gently, and kissed him with Lust and Greed and...yes, love, though he couldn't bring himself to admit to it.

Aziraphale melted a little into the kiss, putting a hand on Crowley's waist to steady himself, and kissed him back. He made a small sound, a needy sound.

Crowley brought his wings forward and wrapped them around the angel in a warm embrace. He couldn't kiss him enough to be satisfied and soon enough he parted his lips and licked at Aziraphale's mouth, begging entrance.

Aziraphale parted his lips and allowed the deeper kiss. It was wonderful.

Aziraphale has had kisses before. Just twice, and he’d never told Crowley. But neither of those were anything like this.

He knew he should stop this soon, that it was a lot at once, but for right now he was enjoying it very much.

Crowley reached around and cradled the back of Aziraphale's head, keeping him close. The taste of Grace was intoxicating and he was Greedy for it, but more than that sensual draw...Crowley was really enjoying the kiss. Aziraphale wasn't as shy as he'd thought he might be given, well, everything about him. In fact, the demon was rather a bit shocked at how well Aziraphale could kiss.

Aziraphale, meanwhile, was terribly self conscious; though he was enjoying the kiss very much (more than he wanted to admit to himself) he was certain he must be terrible at it. Eventually he pulled away - at least as much as he could with Crowley holding him so close - and gasped, "I - I need to breathe." Which was, of course, not actually true.

Crowley smiled, soft but sly.

"Breathe all you need to," he said, well aware of the angel's lie. He wondered sometimes if all Aziraphale's tiny fibs added up and might just be damning him a bit. Probably not, he thought. It had been centuries worth of little white lies and the angel was still quite the angel.

Aziraphale's cheeks flushed a little; just looking Crowley in the eyes made him terribly self conscious. "You've probably kissed lots of people," he said.

"None that I can recall right now," he replied softly, nearly purring.

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale flushed even darker. "Honestly, Crowley."

[sauntereddownward]

"Awwohh...shut up," he admonished.

[theangelfell]

"Maybe this is just a dream," Aziraphale murmured.

[sauntereddownward]

"Hardly. Don't fool yourself, angel. Accept a kiss as a kiss," Crowley replied.

[theangelfell]

"And that's all it is," Aziraphale said, somewhere between a statement and a question. "A kiss?"

Crowley scoffed.

"What more could it be. You're and angel. I'm a demon. Enemies, right? Not as if we, after thousands of years, might have fee...affec...a nice working relationship," he said.

Aziraphale's face fell a little. "Right, of course," he said. "Well, I think it's been quite a lot for me, tonight. It's time I go home, I think."

"No, no. Stay. You still haven't had Sex on the Beach," he said as he tugged at his hand.

That response didn't really help Aziraphale's anxiety. But he leaned in and kissed Crowley’s cheek. He wasn’t angry; he didn’t expect Crowley to be anything but what he was. “I don’t think so,” he said. “But I’ll see you tomorrow.”
