Aziraphale moaned into the kiss. It just felt so good...

"More, I want more..."

More. Well, that was a leap of imagination. Crowley wasn't even sure how to go about...well, anything really.

"Make an effort," he said softly. He did for himself and suddenly there was a pressure against Aziraphale's hip of an erection.

Aziraphale had done this so rarely, and it had been so long, that it took him a beat to remember how. And then he felt... "Oh..."

"Why didn't we do this sooner?" Aziraphale asked with a sigh.

[sauntereddownward]

"Because we're stupid," he said flatly.

[theangelfell]

"Hmph," said Aziraphale. "Really, Crowley. You can't blame me for assuming that you... would never want such a thing."

[sauntereddownward]

"I would like to point out that I thought the exact same thing," he said. He was warm enough but he pressed just a bit closer anyway.

[theangelfell]

"You keep pointing out that I'm a being of love!" Aziraphale reminded him. And then he mumbled, "Also I'm pretty sure I've been looking at you like a smitten puppy for the past thousand years at least."

[sauntereddownward]

"I thought you just had allergies," the demon replied.

He finally stepped back to look at what mess there was. It was less upsetting than it otherwise might be.

"Should we take a bath?" he asked then.

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale loved baths. "Yes please," he said brightly. "With bubbles."

[sauntereddownward]

"You'll have to miracle those yourself," he said, taking Aziraphale's hand to take him to the bath. It was amazing he couldn't make bubbles, but the lights were on as well as the heater and there were fluffy towels waiting that didn't seem to quite fit with the rest of the demon's decor.

"Oh, this is a nice bathtub," Aziraphale said with a little sigh.

[sauntereddownward]

Crowley looked over at him, a curious little smile dancing on his lips.

"You're so easy to please," he said.

[theangelfell]

"Baths are very nice," Aziraphale said defensively. "Though at home I have a lot of very nice smelling soaps."

[sauntereddownward]

"For an angel, you're an shameless hedonist," he pointed out. Then smiled.

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale bristled a little. "Soap is not hedonistic."

And then suddenly (perhaps due to the reminder of hedonism), he realized that they were both standing there naked, and he looked at Crowley, and... "You're beautiful," he murmured.

[sauntereddownward]

"So are you," he replied softly.

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale blushed. "You're just saying that."

[sauntereddownward]

"I have never lied to you," he said.

Well, not directly. Was evading the truth the same as lying?

[theangelfell]

"You really think I'm beautiful?" Aziraphale said quietly. He certainly wasn't vain, but the only person that he cared about being beautiful for was right in front of him.

[sauntereddownward]

"I thought you were stunning, even before I Fell," he admitted.

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale blinked in surprise. "You... noticed me? Then? But... with all the other angels..."

[sauntereddownward]

"You were always the most beautiful burning wheel with a thousand eyes," he replied, nudging him to the tub.

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale blushed at the poetic compliment as he slipped into the water... and miracled some bubbles with a pleasant sandalwood scent.

Crowley slithered in, too. The bath was just big enough for them both, and quite deep.

"Alright, this is nice," he purred.

[theangelfell]

Crowley was sitting across from him, and Aziraphale relaxed a little so that their legs were touching.

"So what happens now?" he asked quietly.

[sauntereddownward]

"Generally my toes prune up after I fall asleep for a while," he said, taking Aziraphale literally.

[theangelfell]

"Well that's very good to know in the immediate," Aziraphale said. "But what I meant was - does anything change? Between us? This seems like... I don't know. Something is different."
