Aziraphale moaned into the kiss. It just felt so good...

"More, I want more..."

More. Well, that was a leap of imagination. Crowley wasn't even sure how to go about...well, anything really.

"Make an effort," he said softly. He did for himself and suddenly there was a pressure against Aziraphale's hip of an erection.

Aziraphale had done this so rarely, and it had been so long, that it took him a beat to remember how. And then he felt... "Oh..."

Aziraphale was still shaking as Crowley wrapped his wings around him. Though it may not have been obvious right away that the reason now was that he'd started to cry, shaking with slight sobs.

It took him a long moment of selfishly basking in Aziraphale's Grace before he had any sense to think of anyone but himself.

And then he noticed he felt distinctively damp.

He pulled back just a bit and used a knuckle to turn the angel's chin to him. If he'd had a heart, it may have broken.

"I...didn't mean to make you cry," he apologized.

Aziraphale managed to pull himself together, and he shook his head, though not quite meeting Crowley's eyes. "No, it's just... overwhelming, and I'm happy, mostly, really..."

[sauntereddownward]

"...Mostly?" he asked, terrified by what that might mean.

[theangelfell]

"I - it just - it seems like something that feels so good must be a sin," Aziraphale whispered. "It feels as if I've crossed another line. I'm not sorry, and I would never wish it away, I'm so happy, really, but you must understand how complicated this is for me..."

[sauntereddownward]

Crowley hmm'd tightly and considered that.

"I don't think it's a Sin," he said. "And I'm a bit of an expert."

He paused.

"I felt like I'd been called Home."

"So that felt as good for you as it did for me?" Aziraphale asked, meeting his eyes now.

[sauntereddownward]

"It felt...Good. Like, the essence of Good. I can feel your Grace, angel. I don't think you can possibly understand what it's like to be denied that kind of Love, only to find it there, just right there, hiding in my best friend. It's us, angel. Us against the world and everything beyond."

He paused.

"I have no idea what you could possibly get from me that could possibly compare."

"... you're going to make me cry again," Aziraphale sniffed. "Crowley, it makes me so happy to... to give you my love."

[sauntereddownward]

Crowley sighed softly and kissed him again, this time sweet and slow, his own lips trembling a bit, though he would never admit he might cry, too.

Aziraphale kissed him back, and then when it broke, he said, "Crowley, you've really,,, you've really never done that before? What we just did? Not with anyone?"

That gave him pause and he looked in the angel's eyes to see if he was messing him about.

"No," he finally said. "Why would I?"

"I'm not saying I didn't believe you," Aziraphale said hastily. "I just, now that we've done it, I'm surprised that you... I mean, wouldn't this have been quite a way to manipulate humans? You're beautiful, I'm sure you could have seduced so many and led them into sin..."

[sauntereddownward]

"Ugh. Too much work, plus humans get all their weird psychoses all over you," he said, visibly disgusted at the very idea of sharing something so perfect with a human of all things.

[theangelfell]

A smile tugged at Aziraphale's lips. "I'm so glad though," he said. "To share that with you. Do you think it feels like that for them? If it does then... why aren't they all just doing it all the time?"

[sauntereddownward]

"They used to," he pointed out. "The Woman was with child even before they were evicted. I think they figured all that out rather quickly."

[theangelfell]

Aziraphale was aware of how sticky they were now, but he didn't mind. He settled against Crowley, resting his head on his chest. "I wouldn't like it as nearly much if it weren't with you."

[sauntereddownward]

"I'm flattered," he replied softly.

"You do know...all this time it has only been you. Always you. Only you."

[theangelfell]

"Why didn't we do this sooner?" Aziraphale asked with a sigh.

[sauntereddownward]

"Because we're stupid," he said flatly.

[theangelfell]

"Hmph," said Aziraphale. "Really, Crowley. You can't blame me for assuming that you... would never want such a thing."

[sauntereddownward]

"I would like to point out that I thought the exact same thing," he said. He was warm enough but he pressed just a bit closer anyway.

[theangelfell]

"You keep pointing out that I'm a being of love!" Aziraphale reminded him. And then he mumbled, "Also I'm pretty sure I've been looking at you like a smitten puppy for the past thousand years at least."

[sauntereddownward]

"I thought you just had allergies," the demon replied.

He finally stepped back to look at what mess there was. It was less upsetting than it otherwise might be.

"Should we take a bath?" he asked then.

Aziraphale loved baths. "Yes please," he said brightly. "With bubbles."
